We absolutely love these heart-healthy oat cookie dough bites from The Garden Grazer! They’re a great grab and go snack, and what’s not to love about guilt-free cookie dough?! Fuel up on these treats before or after your run to give your body the healthy fats and fiber it needs. Healthy snacks = happy you!
2/3 cup raw almonds
2/3 cup raw walnuts
2/3 cup rolled oats
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup agave (or honey)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup chocolate chips
In a food processor, add the almonds, walnuts, oats, cinnamon, and salt. Process until it’s a fine meal. Add the honey and vanilla, process again. Transfer to a small bowl and add the chocolate chips, folding to combine. Roll into balls, wetting your hands if they’re too sticky. Freeze uncovered for an hour, then store in a tightly covered container in the freezer.
